You choose who sees your photos
Your first photo is visible, the rest after a match. Or all of them after a match. Or all of them visible. Change it whenever you like.
Safety at Mahbas
We built Mahbas so you are safe in it, women above all. This is what we do, and what you can do.
No screenshots
On Android they are blocked outright. On iPhone the screenshot comes out blank, and the other person is told.
Verified sign-in, reviewed profiles
You sign in with a confirmed phone number, Apple or Google, one account each. Your number is never shown to anyone, and every profile is reviewed before it appears.
Scam warnings
If someone asks for money, a transfer or to move quickly to WhatsApp, we warn you straight away.
Report and block in one tap
From any profile or chat. The other person will not know you reported them, and our team reviews every report.
Pause your profile any time
Disappear from discovery without deleting anything, and come back when you want.
Child safety: zero tolerance
Mahbas is for adults looking to marry. Shard Soft EOOD, which operates Mahbas, has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
- Mahbas is 18+ only. Sign-up requires a date of birth showing at least 18 years, and every profile and photo is reviewed by our team before anyone else sees it.
- Anyone can report a profile, photo or message from inside the app (Report, on any profile or chat), or through our contact form. Reports about children are handled first.
- Content that sexualises or endangers a child is removed at once, and the accounts involved are banned permanently, including their phone number and sign-in identities.
- We report child sexual abuse material and child exploitation to the competent authorities, including the NCMEC CyberTipline and national hotlines where required by law, and we preserve the evidence they need.
